Professional audio
A sound system is designed against the room it will live in. Specify it first and the room will argue with it for the rest of its life.
Everything in this section
We design, supply, install and commission audio systems as part of the acoustic work, not separately from it. The room is modelled, the coverage is predicted against that model, and the finished system is measured and tuned on site with an analyser.
By venue
By function
- Directional audio — sound placed where it is wanted and nowhere else.
- Matrixing — many sources, many zones, under control.
- Streaming — sending the room out to where the audience is.
How a system is delivered
- The room is measured and modelled.
- Coverage and intelligibility are predicted against that model.
- Equipment is selected to meet the prediction, not the other way round.
- Installation by our own crews, with the cable routes designed into the build.
- Commissioning with an analyser, and training for the people who will use it.
The room and the system are one problem. Design them apart and they will disagree in public.
Audio and video are usually delivered together: see pro audio and video.
Tell us the room
Send dimensions and intended use. You get back an indicative acoustic treatment, a systems outline and a budget range.
