Test facilities

We keep simulation and measurement in house, which is what lets us tell a client how a room will behave before it is built — and prove how it behaves afterwards.

Everything in this section

Two claims separate a designed room from a decorated one: that its behaviour was predicted, and that the prediction was checked. Both need tools, and ours are our own rather than hired for the occasion.

What we hold

Where it changes the outcome

  1. Before design — the room is modelled, and options are compared on behaviour rather than opinion.
  2. During construction — materials and build-ups are checked against what was assumed.
  3. At handover — reverberation, isolation and coverage are measured and reported.
  4. Afterwards — when something is wrong, we can find out what rather than guess.

Lead with data — RT60, STC, coverage plots, simulation output. Numbers before adjectives.

Tell us the room

Send dimensions and intended use. You get back an indicative acoustic treatment, a systems outline and a budget range.
