Video streaming

Streaming turns an event into something people can watch elsewhere, or later. Cameras, sound, network and encoding all have to hold up at once.

Also in video

The weakest link decides the result, and it is rarely the camera. Lighting on the speaker, a dedicated audio mix, enough upstream bandwidth and an encoder that is not being asked to do too much — those settle the quality of a stream.

What we install

  • Cameras positioned for the room's sightlines, fixed or controllable.
  • A dedicated audio mix for the stream, separate from the room mix.
  • Encoding and delivery to your platform.
  • Recording for archive, alongside the live stream.
  • Lighting checked for the cameras, since house lighting is rarely enough.

Tested before the day

Streaming systems are commissioned with a full rehearsal on the actual network, at the time of day the event will run.
